MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATER: The Frog Prince: Open auditions are on Aug 2 at 10 am for youth entering 1st - 12th grade. Rehearsal times depend on role participant is playing. Program concludes with performance & reception on Aug 6 at 6 pm.
YOUTH FALL SOCCER: Youth Programs is now accepting registrations for their fall youth soccer program. The program is for youth ages 5 - 18.
FRIDAY NIGHT ROCKS AT YOUTH PROGRAMS!: Jul 30: Putt-Putt, Aug 13: Healthy Cooking Night, 7 - 10 pm, free for members, $3 for guests, Aug 20: Sports Night, 7 - 10 pm, free for members, $3 for guests, Aug 27: Back to School Dance, 7 - 10 pm, $3 for members, $5 for guests
KIDS NIGHT OUT: Aug 13, from 6 - 11 pm for K - 6th grade. This night's theme is "Think Extinct." We'll have games, arts & crafts, sports/fitness, dinner and more. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Show your AF Services Card for a $5 discount! Sign up by COB Aug 11.
START SMART YOUTH SOCCER: Runs thru Aug 12. It’s for children 4 & 5 years old. Children will learn basic soccer skills every Thursday evening from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
CHEF-K CULINARY CAMP: Aug 23 - 27, from 3 - 6 pm. Participants, ages 8 and up, will learn skills in budgeting, nutrition, menu planning, food preparation and cooking. Class size is limited, so sign up today!
CAMP XTREME: Registration is now being accepted for Youth Programs’ Camp Xtreme. The program runs thru Aug 6, from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and youth can sign up by the week, for a few weeks, or for the entire summer. The camp is for youth going into 7th - 10th grade. Cost is only $86 per week. Activities include: outdoor sports, recreational competitions, art exploration, techie projects, health & life skills, theater arts and special workshops. At 4 p.m., youth may sign into open recreation at Youth Programs until they leave the facility. The program includes breakfast, lunch and a snack.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: YP is looking for volunteers to assist with the following programs: Fall Soccer (coaches), Club Tech (computers), Dramatic Arts (theater), Fine Arts (painting or drawing skills). Volunteer hours could be for a season or monthly, depending on the program and your free time.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP: Torch Club for ages 11-13, Mondays at 4pm. Keystone Club for ages 14-18, Fridays at 7:30 pm. These Boys & Girls Club programs are excellent opportunities to learn skills and make a difference within Youth Programs and the community.
FIT FACTOR EVERY MONDAY & WEDNESDAY AT 4 PM - We've got basketball, ping pong, billiards, kickball, soccer, football, jump ropes, and much more! Register online and log points for valuable prizes. Must be a member to participate.
SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM - We have individual classrooms with different activities in each room to include: a homework assistance program, arts & crafts, fitness activities and skill building activities. Meals are provided under the guidance of the USDA Food Program. Call now for enrollment information.
